so today's the big day

10:30am
the removal of my last wisdom tooth
15 minutes after the local anaesthesia, the doctor took around 5 seconds to pull my tooth
then it was time to say goodbye... to my last wisdom tooth.
looking at the thing that was sitting nicely on the table drenched with blood, perhaps it wasn't a good idea to ask the doc whether I'm allowed to keep my tooth or not.
and the nurse wasn't very nice, so I decided it's time for me to part with my tooth for good.

11:30am
back home with my mouth still feeling funny I decided to watch 'Italian Job' again.
Damn that's such a good movie. Only had time to watch the first half though.

2:00pm
after lunch I got out to the scorching heat again
meet up. had a tea set at FUZION.
voted - again. yet this time is final, we got the job done at 7pm
guess the lady wasn't very pleased, but we were.

7:30pm
paid for my copy of Borrowed Heaven at HMV's cashier.
the madness of searching for the 'perfect' copy of the CD (i.e. to find the one and only copy on the rack with NO creases originating from the stapling of the booklet)
it was then time to go home. just like what I did when I got In Blue 4 years ago, I was travelling on the MTR, with the black HMV bag in my hand, I couldn't help but take out the album and look at the cover from time to time. the excitement of finally able to listen to the long awaited album was simply overwhelming.

8:30pm
after an unusually quick dinner I popped my CD into my stereo

first listen.
the whole thing sounds good.
it all happened too fast, i wasn't sure if i liked the album or not.
there were some surprises, but i thought some songs were too bland and commercial

second listen.
the songs started to grow.
and I took time to appreciate the record.

and third listen.
wow. I LOVE IT!


then fourth listen.
i skipped summer sunshine, went straight on to Angel.
mum suddenly came in, saw i was lying on my bed (i wasn't sleeping i was just lying down listening to the music) and she lowered the volume and did some screaming at me.

oh well, i felt like screaming too, but i didn't.
don't understand why she's so mad at me whenever i turn my stereo on.

so i decided it's time for me to stop.
